It is the last day of the 2007 World Deaf Swimming Championships on 16th. There are going to have 8 final events from 5:00pm. The closing ceremony will be hold at Archery field, 7:00pm. Tseng, from Chinese Taipei, will swim for her the third medal in woman’s 200 backstroke on 16th.
So far, there were three new world records been set in the 2007 Deaf Swimming Championships. The man’s 100 backstroke world record holder, Bjorn Koch from Ireland, is going to swim for breaking the record. In addition, man and woman’s 400 freestyle will start around 6:00pm.
Taipei City Mayor, Hau, will attend the closing ceremony and invite all athletes, coaching staffs, and family members come to Taipei for 2009 21st Deaflympics in the near future.
