The deaf badminton team of Chinese Taipei arrived Taiwan TaoYuan International airport on 8th Oct..  Chien-Chen Lin and Chung-Han Huang won the third placed in the men’s double and were welcomed by their family and friends.

In the match for third place also Asia triumphed over Europe in the men's doubles. Also not altogether expected was the victory of the Chinese Taipei players, Chien-Chen Lin and Chung-Han Huang, over Jesper Sondergaard and Jannich Andersen from Denmark.

The coach of the Chinese Taipei mentioned that our athletes were lack of experience in international competitions.  Though Chinese Taipei athletes’ skills were great, the mental constructions were not strong enough.  “This was a wonderful experience for us, we believe that we can win the first place in 2009 Summer Deaflympics.”, Lin said.

The deaf badminton team of Chinese Taipei is looking forward to win the champion in 2009.
