Yao Ming shows his encouragement to the Chinese Taipei basketball players of 2009 Deaflympics and received gift from Chao.

Yao Ming, the best center of NBA attended a friendly game at National Taiwan University on Sept. 9^th.  Yao not only showed his amazing basketball skills to the audiences, but also showed his care and consideration about the Chinese Taipei basketball players of 2009 Summer Deaflympics. 
After the game, the Chinese Taipei basketball players of 2009 Summer Deaflympics were invited to take a picture with Yao.  Since Yao’s left ear has certain hearing disability, he understood the difficulties of deaf athletes.  Yao encouraged all the Chinese Taipei basketball players of 2009 Summer Deaflympics to do their best on the basketball court and in their life as well.

The all-star team from Taiwan's professional basketball league, Super Basketball League, defeated a celebrity team led by mainland China's NBA star Yao Ming with a score of 88-84. Yao thanked the crowd after the game.

Taipei City Mayor Hau, ex-Premier of Executive Yuan Hau, legislators Chou, Huang, and Lee were also attented the game to watch the game.  They expressed their encouragement to the Chinese Taipei basketball players of 2009 Summer Deaflympics as well. 

Yao concluded his three-day visit to Taiwan after the game on Sept. 9^th .
