“Sport Accord” was held at Beijing Shangri-La Hotel on Apr. 24-25, 2007. IOC, ASOIF, AWOIF and so on, over 2000 people joined the Fair, 21^st Summer Deaflympics Organising Commttee is included.

The Exhibition was held by Beijing Organizing Committee of the XXIX Olympic (BOCOG) and it was the biggest event before Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. IOC and over 100 members, GAISF、ASOIF、AWOIF and leaders are included. Jacques Rogge, IOC president announced the route of the Olympic Touch Relay and drew everyone’s attention.

The team of 21^st Summer Deaflympics in the exhibition was the focus while government in Taiwan discussed the route of the Torch Relay.

Chao, Yu-Ping, the president of 21^st Summer Deaflympics, and his crew left for Beijing on April 23^rd. Dr. Lin, Teng-Jiao, the Assistant Commissioner of Taipei City Government Education Department and Yang, Ji-Yu, from Sports Affairs Council, gave instruction and encouragement. Wu, Jing-guo, the member of International Olympic Committee, joined the exhibition and had a dinner with crew from Taipei.

Tiffany Granfors, the Executive Director and Josef Willmerdinger, the Sports Director visited Taipei last week and then joined and gave some advice to 21^st Summer Deaflympics Organising Committee. Many NOC and IFs came to visit the booth.

With such special identity issue, BOCOG and local reporters came to understand some details of 21^st Summer Deaflympics.

Taipei offered free gift, DM and ISL booklet. They taught some easy ISL to people from different countries. The exhibition was like a big family in love and care.

After the exhibition, Chao went to visit Beijing Disabled Persons Federation (BDPF) and its facilities there.

The exhibition was a big success for 21^st Summer Deaflympics and made people around the world to know Taipei more.
