The ICSD Representatives Ms. Tiffany Granfors and Mr. Josef Wilmerdinger visited Chinese Taipei Deaf Bowling team and encouraged the athletes to achieve their best in the Deaflymipcs.

Ms. Tiffany Granfors, ICSD Executive Director and Mr. Josef Wilmerdinger, ICSD Sports Director visited National Sports Training Center in Kaohsiung to tour the training camp of Chinese Taipei National Deaf Bowling Delegation.  Chinese Taipei team will participate in the 2nd Asia Pacific Deaf Bowling Championships in Jeju, Korea.

The guests were invited to attend the flag ceremony for the Chinese Taipei Deaf Bowling Team to represent the ROC at the the 2nd Asia Pacific Deaf Bowling Championships in Jeju, Korea.  Ms. Granfors said at the ceremony that Chinese Taipei Bowling Team amazingly won five gold medals, three silvers and two bronzes in Melbourne Summer Deaflympics in 2005.  She wished the athletes a better performance than in Melbourne and to take this opportunity to prepare for Taipei Summer Deaflympics in 2009.

Ms. Granfors and Mr. Wilmerdinger praised the facilities of the National Sports Training Center, especially admired the Mondo Sportsflex track, which meets high international standard.
