“For showing Taiwanese culture and Deaf culture to the World, we are glad to have a global solicitation for Corporate Identification System (CIS), and we wholeheartedly appreciate for all the competitors to send in their works,” said Dr. Kong-ting YEH, the CEO of 21st Summer Deaflympics Organising Committee, “every competitor is the best, though we can only choose one winner.”
The OC received nearly 100 pieces of work from May 1 to October 31, 2006, and13 pieces have been selected in the primary. Qualified works have to be tailored with international vision. Scores were given by creation (30%), colors (20%), conception (20%), design (20%) and others (10%). The winner is Mr. Ming-hui LAI, who is a deaf artist in Taiwan.
