With hilarious African drumbeats, the Samsung Rainbow Hand, donated by Taiwan Samsung Company for Taipei Summer Deaflympics, was unveiled in front of the Taipei Arena.

The Samsung Rainbow Hand is 12 meters high, holding a Samsung cellphone with a count down clock on the screen, and is designed by a world-famous Artist Mr. Frederic Bruly Bouabre from the Republic of Ivory Coast. The colors of “Rainbow” means that  various races in the World link together and the shape of “Hand” represents that Deaf people express themselves and communicate with the World by using sign language by their hands. Furthermore, the Artist emphasizes the spirit of “Communication” of Samsung by the cellphone.

Taiwan Samsung also donated 100 cellphones to 50 families with deaf members.
